Lightweight Nose-only Inhalation Exposure System

Parameters:

1.    Nose-only Exposure Chamber

1.1    Complied with OECD, EPA, ISO10808 design standards, the chamber is suitable for liquid, dry powder, gas and other test substances;
1.2    With 10 animals per layer, the chamber is suitable for rats, mice, and guinea pigs; It can provide accommodation for up to 40 animals;
1.3    The uniformity of the sample distribution of each animal port should be verified by computer numerical analysis. Relevant analysis data and reports should be provided;
1.4    By using an inner and an outer cavity, the intake and exhaust gas can be well separated. Both the cavities and the aerosol nozzle can be disassembled and cleaned independently.
1.5    The exposure chamber can rotate freely at the time of loading and unloading animals without affecting the exhaust pipe.
1.6    Small support trays are equipped to carry the animal restrainers and collect animal excrement. Each tray can be replaced independently, and is compatible with a variety of animal restrainers.
1.7    A variety of aerosol generators and detection instruments can connect with the chamber where liquid, dust, and gas samples are tested, just by replacing the adapter.
1.8    The design adopts the compact conception to reduce the covering space of the chamber. The whole chamber can be easily placed in a standard Biosafety Cabinet with rat retainers installed.

2.1    Rat and mouse retainers can be installed and disassembled easily.

2.3    The design of heat vents and excreta diversion grooves improves animals physical comfort.

3.    Controlling Unit

3.1    This unit adopts all imported high-quality control devices and components, which can control the aerosol generation flow rate, dilution flow rate and exhaust flow rate in real time. The flow control range is 0-50LPM, and the control accuracy is 1.0%FS.
3.2    Signals from sensors of temperature and humidity, carbon dioxide and oxygen concentration can be monitored by the unit. It controls the aerosol sampling procedure and the Aeroneb vibration shifter for aerosol as well.
3.3    The controlling unit offers an independent touch screen which is a man-machine interface to control the whole equipment by preinstalled software.
3.4    Fast state recovery. If a breakdown like power failure is encountered, the previous working state can be restored within 15 seconds.
3.5    On-site calibration of sensors and flowmeters is possible.
3.6    It can be fully placed in a biosafety cabinet or fuming hood with small footprint.

4.    Waste Gas Treatment Unit

4.1    Highly-efficient disposable filters are used. Removal rate for particles with diameter of 0.3um hits 99.97%.
4.2    Operating noise is less than 50dB normally. Filter Pressure Difference Monitoring Device and Exhaust Flow Detection Device can be ordered separately.
4.3    It works online with the controlling unit. The exhaust flow rate ranges from 0 to 25LPM.

5.    Medical Grade Air Compressor

5.1    Oil-free air compressor at medical grade.
5.2    Rated exhaust volume is greater than 40 liters/min and the operating noise is not more than 45 dB.
