  1. Integrated Inhalation Exposure Hood
1.1 The aluminum-magnesium alloy frame featuring low dead weight, high strength and high corrosion resistance can be built rapidly and is movable and extendable for more functions and different sizes.

#1.2. Customization service is available according to the laboratory designs, with a minimum covering area of 0.9 square meters and a height of 2.0 meters.

1.3. Non-destructive disassembly and relocation of the equipment are possible. Be transformable in sizes and upgradable in functions. A long-time service is provided to maximize users' initial investment in the equipment.

*1.4. Functional units such as exposure chamber, digitalized control, waste gas treatment, power/ gas distribution, environmental monitoring, lighting and ventilation protection can be fully integrated in the hood.

*1.5. Built-in signal input and output ports and gas interfaces are laid in the hood, which adopts a hidden wiring design. All visible pipelines inside can be easily disassembled and maintained.

#1.6. There are multiple sample pipeline channels on both sides of the equipment, enabling the connection with large-scale sample generators, GC, APS, SMPS and other supporting apparatus. External equipment brackets are also compatible.

2. Nose-only Inhalation Exposure Chamber

2.1. Complied with OECD, EPA, ISO10808 design standards, the chamber is suitable for liquid, dry powder, gas and other test substances.
2.2. With 12 animals per layer, the chamber is suitable for rats, mice, and guinea pigs; It can provide accommodation for up to 72 animals.

*2.3. The uniformity of the sample distribution of each animal port should be verified by computer numerical analysis. Relevant analysis data and reports should be provided.

#2.4. The chamber and its main parts are made of SUS316L medical-grade stainless steel ensuring its surface chemically anti-corrosive and can be sterilized under high temperature and high pressure.

2.5. The animal ports adopt a conical design to ensure a constant sample concentration in the breathing zone.

#2.6. Pressure difference, temperature, humidity, oxygen, carbon dioxide and other parameters can be detected. Installed sensors do not occupy the space of any animal hole. TrueBZS sampling technology can be applied to obtain environmental data in animal breathing zone.

2.7. By using an inner and an outer cavity, the intake and exhaust gas can be well separated. Both the cavities and the aerosol nozzle can be disassembled and cleaned independently.

2.8. The exposure chamber can rotate freely at the time of loading and unloading animals without affecting the exhaust pipe.
#2.9. Small support trays are equipped to carry the animal restrainers and collect animal excrement. Each tray can be replaced independently, and is compatible with a variety of animal restrainers.

2.10. A variety of aerosol generators and detection instruments can connect with the chamber where liquid, dust, and gas samples are tested, just by replacing the adapter.

#2.11. A constant pressure controlling method is adopted to ensure the uniformity of aerosol concentration and the particle size distribution of each animal port.

2.12. A flow-sharing design in the exhaust gas collection base is used to ensure the stability of the exhaust gas flow in the chamber.


3. Digitalized Controlling Unit

*3.1. High-quality imported controlling devices, components and sensors are used to ensure that the real-time monitoring and data recording of a series of parameters can be achieved, such as air source pressure, chamber oxygen, carbon dioxide concentration, temperature and humidity, chamber pressure difference, filter pressure difference, cabinet pressure difference, and external analog signals; The real-time controlling and monitoring of the following units can also be attained: aerosol generation flow, dilution flow, sheath flow, main gas path, dilution bypass gas path, flushing gas path, cabinet lighting and exhaust gas treatment unit.

#3.2. Upgradable and expandable without any damage of the equipment. Extra signal input and output ports can be added according to the needs of experiments.

3.3. Ethernet enables equipment networking and the access to the laboratory network to achieve centralized monitoring remotely.
#3.4. The controlling unit offers an independent touch screen which is a man-machine interface, as well as physical controlling buttons and indicating lights for main functional modules. All these facilitate the quick operation. Emergency shutdown apparatus and emergency programs are available as well.

#3.5 Dual alarm modes. The alarm mode and trigger value of each parameter can be preset. In an off-online state, a sound and light alarm can be given whenever an abnormal parameter is detected. In the online state, an alarm can be issued through the remote controlling software.

#3.6 Fast state recovery. If a breakdown like power failure is encountered, the previous working state can be restored within 15 seconds.

#3.7 On-site calibration of sensors and flowmeters is possible.

#3.8 Fully integrated in the exposure hood, the unit takes up no additional space.



4. Waste Gas Treatment Unit

*4.1. The exhaust gas is processed through multi-stage filtration. The removal rate of particles with diameter of 0.3um is required to hit 99.97% and a corresponding test certificate is demanded.

4.2. The DC brushless motor is continuously variable. With normal working noise no more than 50dB, its maximum exhaust speed is no less than 120 cubic meters per hour.

#4.3. The filter can be disassembled without the aid of any tool at the time of replacement. The replacement of filter combinations in different dimensions is allowed according to different experimental requirements in the precondition that the system structure is kept unchanged. A liquid retentate recovery device should be attached to maximize the service life of the filter;

#4.4. With filter pressure difference monitoring device and exhaust flow detection device, it can work online with the controlling unit.

#4.5 Fully integrated in the exposure chamber, the unit saves space perfectly.



5. Power/ Gas Distribution Unit
#5.1. Completely integrated with the exposure hood. Centralized distribution of power and gas.
5.2 Connectors are available for power input, Ethernet, gas input and output. More than three power output ports are available;
5.3. The main power switch has a safety lock. With the precise pressure regulating and displaying device, the system working pressure can be adjusted from 0.1 to 6.0 Bar;



6. Environmental Sensor Set
6.1. Following sensors are available: temperature and humidity sensor, oxygen sensor, carbon dioxide sensor, chamber pressure difference sensor, and cabinet pressure difference sensor. All these sensors have factory calibration certificates;
6.2. 12-24v voltage of power supply with standard signal output.
#6.3 All imported high-quality sensors can be calibrated and run independently;
#6.4 A TrueBZS sampling adapter kit is provided for sampling in animal breathing area;


7. Controlling Software System
#7.1. The controlling software can remotely control the digitalized controlling unit through network. All parameters can be set remotely and all data can be collected and recorded. The number of equipment that can be controlled at the same time is more than 20 sets;
*7.2. The controlling software conforms to the GLP computer system specifications, and can organize and manage data such as experimental records, parameters, equipment, and processes based on the subject (project), and provide data statistical analysis. It can control the nose-only exposure system and the whole body exposure system at the same time.
#7.3. Experimental parameters can be preset and run automatically through the software programs.
